Birthdays are a very special time at Gecko Garden School. It is a chance to celebrate each child as a unique human being. We invite parents to the school to celebrate. Please follow the guidelines for birthdays as follows:

1. Discuss with your child’s Head Teacher the date and the time of the celebration.

2. Prepare a cake or treat that is simple and uses natural sweeteners. A hint: carved watermelons and fruit sculptures are very popular with the children!

3. Arrive on time, as the birthday is part of the rhythm of the day. Plan to spend about one hour and join the children for snack after a special ceremony.
